Injection Machine Inspection & Maintenance Tips
The tips are made for keeping the injecting machine smoothly running and reducing the malfunction. It is very important to have a periodically inspection and maintenance to keep injection machine in a high-effect, long service life and safe operation.
1 Daily Inspection
① Ensure the emergency stop button can shut down the motor power of oil pump.
② Keep injection machine and the surrounding clean.
③ Ensure the heaters and the thermocouples are working properly.
④ Ensure the injection machine will stop closing the mould when opening the security door. Check it by manual mode ‘’, semi-automatic mode ‘’ and automatic mode ‘’.
⑤ Ensure the cooling lines without any leakage.
⑥ Ensure all the covers are installed on the injection machine stably.
⑦ Ensure the oil temperature is under 50 degrees after running the injection machine for a while. Check the temperature for the cooling water, and the oil temperature should be kept between 30 degrees to 50 degrees.
⑧ Ensure the mechanical safety bar is working properly.
2 Weekly Inspection
⑨ ensure all the lubricating pipes without any damage.
⑩ Ensure the pulleys of safety door are not worn.
11 Ensure the screws for all moving parts without loosening. Tighten if necessary.
3 Monthly Inspection
12 Ensure all the electric parts and wiring are well connected. Tighten if necessary.
13 Ensure the working pressures of hydraulic system is in proper pressure.
14 Ensure no any oil leakages from injection machine. If it happens, fasten the oil nozzle or change the damaged oil sealing kit.
15 Ensure the system pressure meter are working properly.
16 For the new installed injection machine, check and adjust the whole machine monthly to keep the machine in parallel level for the first 3 months.
4 Quarterly Inspection
① Ensure the thermocouple and heaters are installed stably.
② Ensure all the electric rulers(transducers) and proximity switches are installed stably.
③ Recheck the nozzle centrality.
5 Maintenance Every Six Months
① Ensure the relays and electromagnetic contactors which are inside of electric box and all the wires are not aging. Replace new parts if necessary.
② Clean the inner and outer walls of the hydraulic oil cooler copper tube.
③ Ensure screws of four tie bars on the lock head plate are tight.
④ Check the linear ratio of speed and pressure. Re-adjust if necessary.
⑤ Ensure all the parts of the machine without any oil leakage.
⑥ Ensure the working pressures of hydraulic system is in proper pressure
6 Annual Maintenance
① Replace the hydraulic oil.
② Ensure the fixing screws of mechanical safety parts are tight.
③ Ensure the oil filter and air filter are clean.
④ Ensure the fan blades and the outer surface of the motor without dirt. Inject lubricating grease into the bearing.
⑤ Ensure the exposed wires of the machine without damage. Replace if necessary.
⑥ Ensure the bearing of the hydraulic motor works without any noise. Refill the lubricating grease or replace the new bearing if necessary.
⑦ Readjust the injection machine in parallel level.
